Service Description

For dogs who come in with matting- if matting can be brushed out without causing pain to the dog I will do it. If the matting is in a sensitive area, or is painful for the dog or the dog isn't tolerating the service I will not continue to brush matting out. If a dog is matted to the point it causes an unreasonable amount of time to be added to the grooming of the dog a fee will be added. De-Matting fee is $1 per minute. For typical cases 10-15 minutes is sufficient depending on size of the dog. For more severe cases pricing will be discussed at drop off. I firmly believe in Humanity over Vanity. I will not torture a dog in order for it to look pretty. I am happy to go over brushing techniques as well as equipment you can purchase to help keep your dog matt free. It definitely takes time and effort and is not for everyone. We can always discuss keeping your dog at a more manageable length in order to remedy any ongoing issues.
